The Union held its Annual General Assembly June 29, 2020, online via Zoom. The meeting was very productive and interactive. Membership adopted the Union’s budget for the fiscal year 2020-2021 and approved its financial statements for the previous year. The meeting was also addressed by the FNEEQ President, Dr. Caroline Quesnel, who informed the membership that more than 10,000 Course Lecturers and Instructors of 12 unions and 10 Quebec universities are gathering to support unions who are in negotiations and their struggle for equity.
The Assembly also appointed the following 11 new delegates to the Union’s Delegates Council:

Finally, a comprehensive bargaining report was presented by the Chair of Bargaining Committee, Me. Nick Papatheodorakos, providing details of the Union demands that are still unresolved. The Assembly unanimously reaffirmed its resolve to fight for a fair and equitable collective agreement.
